happy halloween, y'all!

yesterday was the "prep day"...filling treatbags for each girls' classmates...making creepy spider cupcakes for linnea's class...gathering up all items for their costumes...making caramel corn...good ole autumn-time fun, y'all!

 for being all spider-webby and those gangly arachnids atop, those cupcakes were deemed "delish" by all!

and then today...there was a day chock full of halloween fun!  spider costumes were made at linnea's school (where they also devoured the above cupcakes!)...then we were off to wren's school...i organized the class party and luckily all came together nicely making for a stress-free afternoon...and loads of laughter and F-U-N!

the girls & i enjoyed another super fun performance at the rose last friday evening.

the girls thought it was hysterical!  of course, talking animals are high on their list of "things that make us laugh"!

we are preparing for this week of halloween festivities...and in that theme, enjoy the hoodlums girls in their UL "trick-or-treat" shirts I made for them.

i love this photo! albeit fuzzy & blurry...i adore how the girls are looking at the daddy! this is right before they headed out to "trick-or-treat"...the daddy as an ISU football fan and lil miss muffitt and snow white. he was in good company, huh?!?!

after visiting all the neighbors the little trick-or-treaters were ready to just hand out some candy!
